Dr Luis Fondebrider is a forensic anthropologist from Argentina, 55 years old, founding member and current director of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF). Since 1984, EAAF had been a leading a scientific organization investigation human rights violations in Argentina and in other 52 countries.
As member of EAAF, Dr Fondebrider had worked for international /local courts, local mechanisms, truth commissions, UN/OAS commissions, ICRC, CIDH and local/international ngo s in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Paraguay, Venezuela, Haiti, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya, Morocco, Sudan, CAR, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Timor, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Solomon Islands, Ukraine, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Rumania.
He was part of the forensic working group on the update of Minnesota Protocol.
He is a member of the ICRC Forensic Advisory Board.
He is a member of the board the Human Rights and Humanitarian Centre of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.
He teaches at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires.
