Abstracts can be submitted for Poster Presentations. Submission must be done through own form and must be done until 30 october 2019. Abstracts can only be submitted in English and can not exceed 2,000 words. You will receive confirmation of your acceptance or not within a maximum of 10 days after your submission. The Scientific Committee of the Symposium may propose changes. At least one of the authors must be registered in the symposium. A maximum of two posters per registered participant will be acepted.
Posters must be presented in vertical format with the following maximum dimensions: 120 x 90 cm and should be exposed throughout the event. The author (s) will be requested to remain near by, at a time to be defined by the Scientific Committee, to proceed to the possible clarification and discussion of its content.

Humanitarian Forensic Action is a novel field of application of forensic sciences to humanitarian activities, including for searching for people missing in armed conflicts, catastrophic events and other humanitarian emergencies and bringing answers to their families. The Symposium aims to share lessons learned in HFA, including on the principles guiding forensic research and practice for preventing and resolving the tragedy of the missing.
